Young Sheldon is currently on a two-week hiatus due to the winter break. The last episode aired on December 17, 2020. During the hiatus, two old episodes will air on the respective weekly time slot. The fourth season started airing in November, which is reportedly late than the previous season, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Also, the show already had two previous breaks, one in November and the other in the second week of December.

Alex Reid directed the latest episode titled A Musty Crypt and a Stick to Pee On, where different characters face their struggle in their relationships. Mary and George bicker about their relationship, while Mee-maw and her boyfriend Dale are also struggling to amend things. Meanwhile, Georgie gets shocked when his girlfriend, Jana tells him that she thinks she is pregnant.

Mary gets upset when George doesn’t tell her about the Coach’s conference in San Antonio. However, she ultimately joins George with Coach Wilkins and his wife. The duo still quarrels about the earlier topic and Wilkins helps them to amend things up. Wilkins and his wife encourage George and Mary to appreciate each other for their role as a partner and parents.

Young Sheldon Season 4 Episode 6 Preview

Dale is still upset with Connie after she tells him that she doesn’t want to marry him. She also tells him to stop acting kind as she is feeling tired of his good-looking behavior. Later, she mentioned that she liked the old Dale more, and it’s just that she doesn’t want to marry. After realizing her feelings, Dale finally returns to his old-self and they enjoy the Dungeons and Dragons with Missy and Sheldon.

Elsewhere, Jana tells Georgie that she might be pregnant and want to test it out. Georgie gets confused at the beginning but ultimately buys the test. While Jana goes to test her pregnancy, Georgie imagines himself of being a dad and doesn’t look like he loved that. Jana isn’t pregnant. However, he offends Jana when he tells her that he was scared if he had to marry her, should she be pregnant.

Jaffar Mahmood will direct the next episode, which is titled, Freshman Orientation and the Inventor of the Zipper. The episode will air on January 7, 2021, at 8 pm EST on CBS. CBS has also shared the official synopsis, which reveals that Sheldon will be starting his college life very soon. However, the orientation of the freshman doesn’t end well for Sheldon. Also, George will be helping paster Jeff to form a children’s nursery.
