Stella Tennant
Stella Tennant, a supermodel, and inspiration for many was born in London, England in 1970. She was the youngest of three siblings. She was a bold and beautiful British model and a fashion designer and got fame after walking a runway for Karl Lagerfeld as a new face of Chanel.
Work and Achievements
She performed on a fashion ramp walk for Shiatzy Chain, Bill Blass, Dio and Chanel. Furthermore, she gained popularity and worked in various advertising campaigns such as Calvin Klein, Hermes and blueberry (2002). Tim Walker photographed her for L.K. Benette’s Spring Summer Campaign (2010). At the closing ceremony of the London Olympics, 2012, Tennant with other British models represented a British Designer who designed a dress specifically for the event.
She became the Model of the year into the Scottish Fashion Awards Hall of Fame at its annual awards event. Tennant got popular for her nasal septum piercing which was uncommon among the models. She married to a French photographer David Lasnet in 1999 and had four children. Later, they both confirmed the news of getting separated in August 2020. Unfortunately, in December 2020 Tennant died at the age of 50.
