The long wait for Yuru Camp season 2 is finally over!

Season 2 of Yuru Camp also known as “Laid-Back Camp” is set to be released on January 7, 2021. The second season was announced way back in 2018. It will be broadcasted across channels such as KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, Tokyo MX, BS11, YBS, SBS, and Hokkaido TV. In addition, Abema Sevices and D Anime Store will also broadcast the upcoming season of Laid-Back Camp.
About Yuru Camp
Yuru Camp is a Japanese anime adaptation of Afro’s manga. The anime sequel started back in 2015 and was initially published by Houbunsha. It was written by Jin Tanaka and got an anime adaptation in the year 2018 by C-Station.
The first season of Laid Back Camp came in 12 episodes and 3 Original Video Animations. It has a very warm and light-hearted plot which showcases a camper, Rin Shima, who loves to go camping at the base of Mount Fuji all by herself.
One fine day she meets Nadeshiko Kagamihara, who also loves trekking. Later they meet some other girls and become a group who just like to chill out at a camping site.
Plot Summary
With the advent of New Year, the girls of Yuru Camp are trying to decide whether they should view the first sunrise within view of Mount Fuji or by the ocean. So they go camping, but Rin’s plans are put to test when the girls encounter a snowstorm.
Next, the girls went on a trip to Lake Yamanaka. Although, Inuko, Aki, and Ena have gained some camping experience, but they underestimated how much cold it usually gets during the winter.
The next story highlights Nadeshiko, who has become inspired to go on solo camping.
In the last part, Nadeshiko makes a plan to go camping with the other girls in Izu. However, their adventure will get interrupted when they come across a “guest”.
