Legendry’s Pokémon Detective Pikachu, the first-ever live-action mysterious movie based on pocket monsters. In 2019 the film Pokémon Detective Pikachu directed by Rob Letterman and Warner Bros was streaming on everyone’s screen all over the world. We already know the movie had gained a huge fanbase and as we are seeing fans are already excited for the upcoming sequel that is the Detective Pikachu 2 estimated to be released in 2022 or the end of 2021.
Tom Holland Reportedly Joining Detective Pikachu 2
It is being heard that Tom Holland has been approached to join the sequel and gonna play the lead role in the movie.
This rumor is sensed from We Got This Covered, as per this source; “The MCU’s very own Spider-Man has been also approached for a big-screen outing and as well as reported for the role of Blue Oak in Pokémon spinoff which gonna be set in the same universe that would be a separate one from the direct sequel but it is not confirmed from his end yet.
Still, if he gonna be a part of the Pokémon Detective Pikachu 2 then it’s going to be more exciting.
Detective Pikachu Star, Justice Smith is Unknown about the sequel:
Justice Smith, the lead role star of detective Pikachu (Tim Goodman) revealed that he hasn’t heard anything about Detective Pikachu 2 but he hopes for a return into the Pokémon universe.
In one of the interviews with Coming Soon, Mr. J Smith told, he literally has no idea regarding WB’s Detective Pikachu sequel but he would be happy to be considered. I have no idea, but I’m keeping my finger crossed”.
Elle Fanning teased him by saying Smith knew more than he was letting everyone know and he is being secretive right now. Smith then replied, “No, I promise! I wish I wish I knew”.
Whatever gonna happen but we know the movie gonna be still a box office hit that will cross the rating of Detective Pikachu. For now, it’s a bit unclear regarding the story of Detective Pikachu 2 but the fan knows it’s gonna be definitely adventurous.
