Director Anthony Byrne has confirmed the release of season 6 of Peaky Blinders series. It has been confirmed with the recent Instagram post by him. The show is in pre-production now. He has confirmed that the production has started in November 2019. But it was suspended in March 2020 because of the pandemic.
Release of season 6
On 8 November 2020, Paul Anderson who played the role of Arthur Shelby has confirmed through a post about the release of season 6. The release is scheduled next year. Also in a recent Interview, the director has admitted that due to the coronavirus pandemic the release has been shifted to next year. We expect the upcoming season to have 6 episodes like other seasons of the show. The episodes airs on BBC one in the United Kingdom and on Netflix worldwide.
About the new cast
As per the new cast is cast is concerned The Irishman and Boardwalk Empire star Stephan Graham is joining the team. The team has not openly revealed who Graham is playing but it has confirmed that it’s not Al Capone. Also there is rumour about the joining of Rowan Atkinson ( of Mr. Bean and Johnny English) who is assumed to play Hitler, a known friend of Ostwald. Many powerful celebs have also shown keen interest in guesting on the show, Brad Pitt to Snoop Dogg many names are listed.
