Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 13; Sakuna Takes Over Yuji Itadori to Overpower Evil Mahito, Release Date and Spoilers

The horror-supernatural anime series, Jujutsu Kaisen quickly gained mainstream popularity after its debut in October 2020. Jujutsu Kaisen airs every Saturday on Japanese TV networks, MBS and TBS. Meanwhile, Crunchyroll has the distribution license and streams the anime on the same day for the viewers outside of Asia. The first season of the anime will run for 24 episodes, which will conclude airing in March 2021.

The upcoming episode will air on the network and Crunchyroll on December 26, 2020. Jujutsu Kaisen’s new episode airs every Saturday on Japan while airs Friday in several other countries due to the time-zone differences. The 13th episode titled, Tomorrow, will stream on Crunchyroll on Friday, December 25, 2020, at 10: 45 am PST.

Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 13: Preview

The upcoming episode will conclude the eventful Vs. Mahito Arc, which kicked off from the ninth episode, Small Fry and Reverse Retribution. Jujutsu Kaisen follows the story of a high school boy, Yuji Itadori who possesses immense physical strength. He later enrolled in the prestigious Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High after consuming Sakuna, a high-grade cursed spirit, in order to save his friends.

Gojo Satoru, a top-level sorcerer and teacher at the Jujutsu High takes Yuji, along with Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki under his tutelage to prepare them as finest sorcerers. In the previous episode, Mahito manipulates a young boy, Junpei Yoshino to wipe out his high school as an act of vengeance for bullying him and killing his mother. However, Itadori believes that Junpei is a kind-hearted person and tries to cool him down to stop him from killing people.

Junpei and Itadori exchange blows and the later want to know why he has been doing this. However, Mahito interrupts by pinning Yuji down and reveals that he has been manipulating Junpei all this time. Junpei later realises that Mahito is actually an evil person, and discovers the real murderer of his mother. But before he could feel remorseful about his actions, Mahito mutates Junpei in front of helpless Yuji.

The upcoming episode will feature the battle between Yuji and Mahito, in which the former transforms into Sakuna. Nanami will also arrive at the battlefield and engages in a duel against Mahito.
