PS4 is now exclusively on the news as God of War has generated $500 million and Horizon Zero Dawn has made $400 million revenue for Sony.

Clearly a Christmas gift for Sony. PS4 do have some exclusively brilliant feature games to offer to their customers. Among them, God of War and, The Last of Us, Spider-Man etc. are considered best. It was unexpected for God of War to generate nearly a half-billion-dollar revenue. It crossed Horizon Zero Dawn which revenued $400 million for Sony.
The news has come from a Twitter user @bogorad220. He actually noticed PlayStation’s ex-marketing employee TJ Consunji’s LinkedIn profile. The details about both of the revenues was in the post. Later TJ Consunji deleted the post, but screenshots taken before deletion have become viral.
Experts Opinion
TJ Consunji has discussed in the post about his past projects with PlayStation, and their surprising performance. He especially marked God of War, a game that ‘set records for the highest year-one and digital sale’ with great results such as over 10 units of selling and revenue of $500 million.
Whereas HorizonZero Dawn which won ‘multiple Best New IP Awards’ title with delivering global units of 8 million managed to grab over $400 million for Sony.
Another ex PlayStation official Drew Thaler, programmer of Naughty Dog, has recalled his working days. He mentioned that in between 2013 and 2018, the games that he worked on grossed ‘around $1 billion per release’. Where critically acclaimed PS3 and PS4 masterpiece The Last of Us was included.

Other mentionable figures include Spider-Man on PS4 which became the fastest selling first-party video game in the history of Sony. It literally made $198 million within 3 days of release.
Now PS5 is the future star of Sony. PS5 is still on huge demand and has some exclusive games like Demon’s Souls, Spider-Man Miles Morales, God of War: Ragnarok etc. The upcoming new games on PS5 are Ratchet and Clark: A Rift Apart, Gran Turismo 7, Returnal, are expected to be released in 2021 and command huge revenue in the future.
