Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are both world famous singers and we can all remember the times when the JELENA fans were always hooting and screaming for this couple. Their love life together started in February 2011 at the Vanity Fair Oscars party.
That was the year when Selena revealed to Seventeen about her relationship with Bieber. They both went public. In her own words, “I don’t like hiding. I do like to keep certain things to myself, but at the end of the day, I’m 18 and I’m going to fall in love, I’m going to hang out with people and I’m going to explore myself, and I’m okay with that.”

After they started dating and made it official, they became pretty comfortable with their relationship which was pretty evident from they public display of affection. It was prevalent at many high profile events such as the MTV VMAs, the 2011 Billboard Music Awards etc.
In 2012, they ended up calling it off. It was presumed that with all the distance between them, the relationship took a difficult turn with trust issues and arguments. A few days later, after this news was confirmed, they were spotted at a dinner together. However, they were still in the same pit, uncoupled.
In 2014, when it was confirmed that Bieber was seen with Orlando Bloom, post that outbreak, Bieber and Gomez were spotted together. They were seen at the Chelsea Handler Show where he confirmed that they were definitely back together.
By December 2014, They were on their separate ways again. This was again confirmed when Bieber was spotted with Hailey Baldwin at a beach vacation. Although Justin also alleged that it was nothing but a casual and friendly getaway. That he is completely single. Following this, Selena was also seen with Zedd in March 2015, however, it soon ended in July 2015, with no bad blood between them.
So, where does that leave both of them now?
Fast Forwarding to the year 2018, after seeing both the singers with multiple other people, seeing them together a lot of time as well, we finally got to see a conclusion of their relationship. This happened when Justin Bieber started dating model Hailey Baldwin in June 2018 and got married in the month of September of the same year.
After this, we also saw Gomes rising from the ash like a phoenix between two of her songs, ‘Lose you to love me’ and ‘Look at her Now’. Both of which were assumed to be about her relationship with Bieber. However, she explained in an interview about her struggles and her mental health issues.
She shares how she had a hard time facing it all and ended her deciding to share it all via her music. We can all agree on how beautiful she looks now. As for Justin, he also seems amazingly happy with his wife Hailey.
Their fans however, can still at times be seen rooting for Jelena, but sometimes we have to expect the choices of our favorite stars and just wish them the best!
