The much-anticipated final season of the popular anime television series, Attack on Titan has finally premiered. NHK General TV, Japan premiered the first episode of the fourth season on December 7, 2020. Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed the new episode after several hours of season premiere in NHK. The producers announced back in July 2019, that the fourth season will serve as anime’s final season. MAPPA has been handling the animation and will release 16 episodes in the fourth and final season.
Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 2 Release Date
The next episode of the final season will air next week on NHK, and a few hours later in streaming platform. Episode 2 titled, Midnight Train will officially air on Japan on Monday, December 14 at 12:10 AM local time.
Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 2 Preview
The upcoming episode will tell the story following the 4-year-long war. This means that the four-year-long war fought between Mid-East Allied Forces and Marley. The Marleyan army will be celebrating the end of the war for a brief moment. Marley realizes that the Titan aren’t as powerful as they thought because the Warrior Titans were also injured by the new weapons. The upcoming episode will tell the aftermath of the four-year-long war. Eren, Mikasa, and Armin didn’t show up in the first episode and fans are hoping to see them in the upcoming episode.
Marleyans capture Fort Salva and win the four-year-long war
The first episode begins with a Marleyan soldier named Falco close to the enemy lines. However, Colt arrives in time and saves the young soldier. Colt then reports to Captain Magath to use the Warrior Titans after only a few soldiers survived following an attack on Eldian Vanguard. Captain Magath refuses as he knows that the Allied Forces have an armoured train capable of taking down even the warrior Titans with a single shot.
Later, a train carrying anti-Titan tank moves towards them and Magath orders Colt to destroy the rail lines. Gabi convinces Magath that she can singlehandedly stop the train and successfully destroys the train by throwing hand grenades. A Titan saves her and soon after Reiner and Zeke attack the Allied Forces by dropping an army of Titans. Reiner finally transforms into Armoured Titan and Zeke into Beast Titan to fight against the Allied Forces. The plan works and the Marley captures the fort and wins the war.
