The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 7: Mando Teaming with OLD ENEMY to Rescue the Child, Release Date and Spoilers

The Mandalorian Season 2 is getting better with every new episode. The sixth episode, titled, The Tragedy, has to be the best season so far this season. Din Djarin and The Child headed to the planet of Tython after meeting with Ahsoka Tano in Corvus. Ahsoka told Mando to take The Child to the ruins of a Jedi temple in the planet of Tython, after refusing to train the Child herself.

After reaching the planet, Tython, the Child, also named Grogu uses the Force and calls nearby Jedi. However, two different party shows up eventually on the planet. The first company to arrive is Boba Fett, who previously appeared briefly in the first episode, along with Fennac Shand. The mysterious figure who approached the body of Fennec Shand in Tatooine in the previous season was actually Boba Fett.

Boba Fett demands the armour that Mando collected from Marshall in the first episode. He claims that he is the rightful owner of the armour. The Mandalorian initially refuses but later agrees after Fett tells him that he would protect the Child. Soon after, stormtroopers arrive in shuttles to capture the Child. Moff Gideon also arrives an Imperial starcruiser and destroys Mando’s ship, Razor Crest. Four Robotic Dark Troopers — sent by Gideon — land on the temple and kidnap the Child.
