Apple is offering a five-month free subscription through Shazam as a special holiday offering to new Apple Music users. This offer applies to new Apple Music users in India, Australia, Canada, USA and some other countries. It is valid until January 17, 2021. To take advantage of the offer, users are required to download Shazam and use it to identify any song. This will give the option to play the song on Apple Music where you can find deals offered for five months of Apple Music.
This offer applies to iOS users who have not yet used Apple Music’s streaming service. Apple mentioned the holiday offer on Shazam’s App Store page. The offer is valid until January 17, 2021, for new Apple Music users in Australia, Canada, India, the US, UK and some other countries.
According to a 9to5Mac report, users have also mentioned finding a banner in Shazam’s settings, where the extended Apple Music trial period is being offered. Apple acquired Shazam, one of the world’s most popular music recognition mobile apps, in 2018.
Apple Music’s standard offer for new users includes a three-month trial period, so this holiday offering is a good way to add one and two months to the free membership. Apple Music also has Apple One + bundles with Apple Apple + and Apple Music with other services.
