The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 6: Mando’s Journey to Tython REVEALED, Release Date, and Plot

Ahsoka Tano has finally appeared in the Mandalorian. Since Disney confirmed her appearance in the Mandalorian back in March 2020, fans were hyped to see her in action. However, it doesn’t look like that she would be credited as the main character of the series. Like Greef Karga and Cara Dune, she would possibly be a recurring character in the widely popular Star Wars’ show.

Episode 5 titled The Jedi was written and directed by Dave Filoni, who has previously worked in multiple Star Wars projects. It took 13 chapters to know the actual name of the internet sensation and the heart of the show. Fans have been calling The Child — same species as legendary Jedi master Yoda — as Baby Yoda, due to his resemblance with the Jedi Master. But, thanks to the ex-Padawan of the late Anakin Skywalker, we now know the actual name of the Child, which is Grogu.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 6: Storyline

Mando had the quest to hand over the child to one of his kind. After learning about the existence of Ahsoka Tano from Bo-Katan Kryz, Din Djarin headed to the city of Calodan, in the forest planet of Corvus. He met with the former Jedi Padawan, Ahsoka Tano and asked her to take care of the child and train him.

However, she refused to train Grogu and mentioned that she sense much fear inside the child. She told the Mandalorian that the child has grown a special attachment with the bounty hunter. If the child separates with the Mandalorian, then it may not be good for the child. The Child’s fear would then amplify and he would fall into the dark side. Ahsoka Tano mentioned that she had witnessed the dark part of a fully trained Jedi Knight due to such feelings.

So, the Mandalorian and Grogu must head to in the ruins of an old temple, in Tython. If any surviving Jedi discovers and answers Grogu’s call on Tython, then the same Jedi may train him. However, the Mandalorian has to think on his own, if the Jedi refuses.
