The release date for season 4 of the spookiest series on Netflix has been revealed. Ceiling adventures of Sabrina’s season 4 will be out on Thursday, December 31. The Season 4 release date news was revealed at the end of an action-packed, thoroughly enticing new teaser trailer, which you can check out below. Season 4 will consist of eight, 1-hour episodes focusing primarily on Sabrina Spellman’s (Kiernan Shipka) battle against the Eldritch Terrors unleashed by Faustus Blackwood (Richard Coyle).
Naturally, Sabrina will not be able to take down these terrifying forces from realms unknown on her own. Luckily, she has a badass team she can recruit in the form of her aunts, Zelda (Miranda Otto) and Hilda (Lucy Davis), her cousin Ambrose (Chance Perdomo), and her friends, Rosalind (Jaz Sinclair), Theo (Lachlan Watson), and Harvey (Ross Lynch).
The horror-tinged reboot of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, based on an Archie Comics revamp of the character that started back in 2014, stars Kiernan Shipka, Miranda Otto, and Lucy Davis. It’s a far more serious take than you might expect, given the character’s roots.
The third season ended with a whole bunch of time travel-related story twists – each episode of season 4 has been compared to a mini horror movie by the show’s creators.
Netflix has chopped a whole bunch of shows this year, including The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Teen shows like I Am Not Okay With This, Teenage Bounty Hunters, and The Society have bore the brunt of the cancellations – but wrestling series GLOW also got cut this year, despite having previously been renewed.
The show is widely loved by the audiences because of its unique storyline. The cast of the show also has put up stellar performances. The show is a comic book to series adaptation authored by Aguirre-Sacasa that goes by the same name.
The protagonist of the show Kiernan Shipka is one of the most popular actors among the younger generation. She is best known for her roles in Mad Men, Feud: Bette and Joan, and The Legend of Korra. She has also won many awards and accolades for her performances. She was also voted as the most influential teens by Time Magazine in 2014. The last she was seen in was the horror film The Silence which released in 2019.
