In September India Ranked At No. 131 In Global Mobile Data Speeds: Ookla

India remembers an enormous footing of smartphone users. And they receive admission to some of the inexpensive data rates in the world. As per Ookla Speedtest Global Index for September 2020, India’s average mobile download speed is 12.07 Mbps. This is considerably lower than the accepted standard of 35.26 Mbps. That’s not all, the nation’s average mobile upload speed and latency furthermore lag at 4.31 Mbps and 52ms, respectively. This too is means below the accepted mean of 11.22 Mbps upload speed and 42 ms latency.

Interestingly, regions like Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka rate higher on this chart than India. The countries remembered here come in at 102, 116, and 117th spots, respectively, with all contribution mobile data, speeds over 17 Mbps.

On the fixed-line broadband veneer, India prices narrowly adequately at 70th spot with normal download speeds of 46.47Mbps, still indexing below countries like Ghana, Moldova, and Malta.
