It seems that the next Thor movie might be on the way. On Monday, actor Chris Hemsworth shared a picture on Instagram. The picture features the filmmaker Taika Waititi. Furthermore, he unveiled that the team had a rendezvous for the script meeting of the upcoming film Thor: Love and Thunder. There was a delay to this unfortunate situation of the coronavirus pandemic.

The picture shared on Instagram show the filmmaker Taika Waititi sleeping while he is wrapped in sheets. This will be Waititi’s fourth solo film in the MCU.
The caption read:
“My notes were so detailed and intense that the only way for Taika to fully absorb them was to roll himself into a tight cocoon and bake in the endless possibilities of where the film will take us”
He labeled Taika Waititi as a ‘fearless’ leader.
He further added:
“The bloke in the background was equally riveted by my storytelling prowess. @taikawaititi #thorloveandthunder @marvel.”
The upcoming movie “Thor: Love and Thunder” was first announced to the ardent fans in 2019 at San Diego Comic-Con. There the director Taika confirmed that Natalie Portman would return to the franchise. Additionally, the actress previously played Thor’s love interest as Jane Foster. Recently, Portman revealed that Jane’s cancer storyline will be an important factor in the movie.
If you read the Marvel comic books, you can see that Jane will become the new female Thor. It will be when the original hero of the series becomes unworthy of the title.
The projected release date of the movie
The filming is said to start in January in Australia.
Originally, the movie was supposed to be released in the November of 2021. But due to the pandemic, the movie is now speculated to be released on February 11th in the year of 2022.
