Recently, some people stabbed two Muslim women beneath the Eiffel Tower. French authorities are calling it a racist incident.
One of the victims said she was with her cousin, who was wearing a hijab. And the attackers shouted “Dirty Arabs,” before slashing them.
The victims told authorities that “an unleashed dog” left them injured.
Police and firefighters in Paris arrived near there around 8 p.m. There they found the two stabbed women there immediately.
Authorities held another two women on Tuesday on suspicion of attempted murder, according to the Paris city public prosecutor.
A recent government crackdown on Islamic extremism followed the killing of a history teacher. He showed cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad in class. For this, some Muslim extremists beheaded him ruthlessly. President Emmanuel Macron has called the killing an “Islamist terrorist attack.” Furthermore, French officials plan to expel 231 radicalized foreign nationals.
An 18-year old murdered Samuel Paty (who was 47). He had become an extremist and the police shot him dead during an encounter. On Wednesday, France’s counter-terrorism prosecutor said that seven people were accused of “complicity in murder in relation to a terrorist undertaking.”
There was a 14-year old and a 15-year old among them.
The killer offered students at the school 300-350 euros ($355-$415) to help identify the educator. Prosecutor Jean-Francois Ricard told this during a news conference.
Furthermore, some members of the Muslim community in France claimed instances of “Islamophobia” have increased since Paty’s killing.
