Check out the latest Huawei’s Mate 40 Pro with 50 W wireless charging

Following the P40 series, Huawei unveiled the Mate 40 Pro and Pro Plus. The phones are the release of  Huawei’s new flagship 5nm Kirin 9000 chipset along with curved 6.76-inch 90Hz OLED displays. They also have a 50 W wireless charging. Alongside these, the company launched the Mate 40.

Because of the unavailability of Google’s apps and services in China, Huawei phones are very difficult and complicated to use in that country.

However, the recent ones, Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro Plus have excellent camera quality.

The camera features

Let us have a look at the camera features of Mate 40 Pro Plus.

With a 50 megapixel main camera, 20 megapixel ultrawide, plus an 8 megapixel periscope camera. Also it comes with a 10x zoom and a 12 megapixel telephoto camera together with a 3x zoom.

Apparently, Huawei offers a 17x zoom in total.

Nevertheless, the Mate 40 Pro is almost similar to the Pro Plus regarding the camera. The only difference is that if offers only 5x zoom for a maximum optimal zoom of 7x for its periscope zoom lens.

The internal specs: Memory, Processor, etc.

Now, let us get into the serious matters. The Huawei phones are equipped with a their own brand new Kirin 9000 chipset. Plus, it is said to be the world’s first 5nm 5G processor. Here, the chip is composed of an 8-core CPU alongside a 24-core GPU.

Coming to the memory aspect, the Mate 40 Pro Plus offers 12 GB RAM with 256 GB of storage. Whereas the Mate 40 Pro comes with an 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.

Both the latest phones support 50W wireless speed charging together with 4,400 mAh batteries. Moreover, a 66W wired charging and reverse charging will allow you to recharge your batteries and other devices/accessories.

Let us look at some other features of the Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro Plus. They have a 2772 x 1344 resolution displays which house in-display fingerprint sensors. Plus, they also come with dual speakers and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

The Pro Plus is available in a variety of colors like black, white, yellow, green, and silver. In comparison to this, the Pro comes only in black and white.

A step-down, Mate 40 has also been revealed

Together with the mentioned models, the company has also announced the step-down model Mate 40. With a 6.5 inch screen and a lower 1080p resolution, it has a slower Kirin 9000E processor. It has a total of three cameras excluding the periscope zoom lens.

Other features include a 4,200 mAh battery, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB storage with 40 W fast wired charging and no wireless charging.

The Price Tag of the phones

The Pro Plus is reported to go on sale for $1,655 and the Pro is tagged at $1,418. The step down Mate 40 will retail at a price of $1063. The Pro and Pro Plus will be available from November 13th in the UK.

The global release dates for the Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro Plus are not yet revealed officially.
