Celtics will take on Heat on Game 3 at the AdvantHealth Area, where the tip-off will begin at 8.30 pm Eastern Time. The third-seeded team will look to avoid 3-0 hole against the fifth-seeded Miami Heat on Saturday night. The Celtics had a clear 17-point lead at the halftime but blew up later in two quarters on Thursday. This wasn’t the first time Celtics blew the cruising lead. The Heat came out victorious from 14 points behind in Game 1.
The Celtics’ Jaylen Brown mentioned that several emotions were flying due to the loss of Game 2, which he believed that the team should have won. ESPN reported that the Celtics’ coach Brad Stevens had to sit down with Boston’s elite players to sort things out. Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker joined Marcus and Brown to meet with the coach to overcome the frustrations.
A good sign for Boston as their regular starter Gordon Hayward may return to Game 3 after recovering from his injury.
