During the Ubisoft Forward Livestream, Ubisoft has announced a new Far Cry game, and it is going to be a VR.
Far Cry VR: Dive Into Insanity
This game is called Far Cry VR: Dive Into Insanity and it is going to be launched next year. Ubisoft is developing this game along with Zero Latency VR. Zero Latency specializes in creating expansive free-roaming virtual reality experiences.
Dive Into Insanity puts players directly in a traditional Far Cry game. Far Cry VR looks a lot like Laser tag. Eight players strap on a backpack and headset to explore and interact with the world. Far Cry 3 villain Vaas Montenegro is also going to make an appearance. Sadly, the reveal trailer didn’t show much of the gameplay.
No official release date has been announced. But the game is slated to launch sometime in 2021.
