OnePlus has been a big player in delivering flagship and premium smartphones with remarkable performance and specs. Now, the company wants to dive in the smartwatches market with the upcoming OnePlus Watch.

Over the past few years, we’ve heard a rumour about a Wear OS-powered watch from OnePlus. Now, the reports claim that there might be an OnePlus Watch releasing soon, in 2020. The eagle-eyed fans on the internet recently discovered a clue about the upcoming OnePlus Watch.

A device literally named OnePlus Watch listed on Indonesia’s IMDA on August 27. The Infocomm Media Development Authority or IMDA of Indonesia is similar to the FCC in the US. When a device gets an FCC certification, then the release date is potentially near. It just a matter of time when the company releases the product that has passed the certification.

OnePlus Watch Release Date and Price

Multiple reports claim that the company may possibly drop the OnePlus Watch later in 2020. There are reports claiming that the company will launch the OnePlus Watch sometime in 2021. OnePlus Watch will possibly be cheaper than Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 3 or Apple iWatch 5. A reliable source mentioned that the device would cost between $200 and $250. But, if the watch features high-end features, then it can go up to $300 marker.

OnePlus Watch Expected Specs

OnePlus is a subsidiary of another smartphone and smart gadgets manufacturing company OPPO. The reports claimed that the OnePlus Watch would have similarities with the OPPO Watch, which released earlier this year. The leaked or rumoured reports suggests that the OnePlus Watch will feature Snapdragon Wear 3100 with 1 GB RAM and 8GM internal storage. The device will obviously have water-resistant with 430 mAh battery.

However, OnePlus has always manufactured performance-driven devices with premium components, and we can assume that they may go the same with the OnePlus Watch.
