Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets will again meet on Tuesday night to contest the third game in Western Conference semifinal. The series is currently hanging on a balance after Lakers achieved 117-109 victory on Game 2 on Sunday. Both of the teams are mentally prepared to grab the lead in currently tied series.
Tip-off: 9.00 PM Eastern Time in the AdventHealth Arena
Lakers improved their defence game on Game 2, after losing 112-97 in the first game. Lakers’ two stars LeBron James and Anthony Davies were exceptional as usual, but what surprised in Game 2 was the bench boost. Markeiff Morris and Kyle Kuzma came off the bench and showed quality performance. Morris dropped 16 points while Kuzma scored 13 points off the bench. Lakers’ performance improved due to the returning of Rajon Rondo, who missed the previous fixture in the Bubble due to injury.
James Harden and Eric Gordon had a good game, but the one who underperformed was the guard Russell Westbrook. Russ had the seven-turnover game on Sunday and missed six out of the seven 3-pointers. He played utterly opposite to his nature and was just running around the court. Westbrook had injured himself earlier and missed the first four playoffs games. Harden and coach D’Antoni believes that he is working on being healthy and will come around.
