Utah Jazz is aiming to send Denver Nuggets home, after their Western Conference Quarter-finals Game 6 on Sunday. Meanwhile, Nuggets will try to force Game 7 against the sixth-seeded Utah Jazz in the NBA Bubble, near Orlando.
Jazz and Nuggets will tip-off the game at 8.30 PM ET on Sunday night at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando. This isn’t the originally planned schedule, as the team boycotted the previous fixtures to protest racial injustice in the country.
The picture between these teams has garnered much attention due to two players from each franchise. Jazz’s Donovan Mitchell and Nuggets’ Jamal Murray are literally having another record-breaking back-court battle against each other. Murray outscored Mitchell in Game 5, for the first time in series and extended the series to Game 6.
As things stand, Jazz leads the series 3-2 and would join the winner of Mavericks-Clippers in Western Conference semis, should they win against Nuggets. Nuggets might have the momentum with the return of Gary Harris. Murray will receive the support from in-form Nikola Jokic and Harris, and the company will try to extend the series to Game 7.
Donovan Mitchell has already dropped two 50 plus games in the Playoffs’ first round. He is set to break Tracy McGrady’s record and in the process, help Jazz to advance in the second round.
