Given the present situation, it is hard to not be concerned about air quality. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is unthinkable to go outdoors without a proper mask.
Well, the Korean multinational company LG is about to put cloth masks out of fashion.
They designed the PuriCare™ Wearable Air Purifier, a portable air purifier that is a wearable mask. The idea for this amazing innovation sprouted from the fact that disposable masks have fallen short and homemade masks are not that effective and are of poor quality.
Design features
It is powered by an 820 mAh battery which lasts as long as eight hours and two hours in low mode and high mode respectively.
The PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier makes use of two replaceable H13 HEPA filters. These are the same filters used in other LG home air purifier products. The highly advanced filters guarantee that the air supplied is super clean and uncontaminated. It also employs dual three speed fans to assist you in the inhaling and exhaling process. Also, the patented Respiratory Sensors detects the speed at which we breathe and regulates the pace of the dual fans appropriately. Therefore, you do not feel any pressure.
Hygienic, Smart and Safe
Worried about hygiene? LG took care of that issue for you. The mask comes with UV-LED lights that destroy dangerous germs and bacteria.
We certainly have no idea when the filters need replacement. Whenever the filters need replacement, the PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier sends an alert to the LG ThinQ app.
And one more remarkable fact that you definitely need to know. All the components of the mask are completely recyclable and replaceable. This makes LG’s new product environment friendly too.
The mask is designed after extensive face shape analysis. So, it provides a snug fit to the person wearing the mask. This ensures that there is no leakage of air anywhere. Plus, this factor makes it comfortable to use the mask for hours.
LG will showcase the PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier at the IFA 2020 which generally takes place at Berlin every year.
The company will hold a virtual exhibition throughout September highlighting its modern advances including the PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier.
LG did not share any details regarding the price of the mask. The company stated that the mask will be available in the fourth quarter of the present year in select markets.
