PlayStation 5: The New Leak CONFIRMED PS5 Release Date, Price, Specifications, and More

Everyone has been expecting the release date of the upcoming next-generation gaming consoles by Sony and Microsoft. The potential release window is almost near, but there hasn’t been official information regarding the release date and the price of both Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. The probable reason why the production company is delaying the release might be due to ongoing pandemic, which is absolutely understandable.

However, a new leak has appeared and claim to confirm the release date of Sony’s PlayStation 5. Video Games Chronicle first reported the recent leak about the release date of PS5. They suggest that the company has already decided PS5’s release date. Video Games Chronicle gathered the information through their trusted retail sources and claimed that mid-November is the date we’ve been waiting for.

PlayStation 5 may release after the thirteenth of September, 2020!

Sony has already planned taken essential steps to commence the marketing campaign for a week, starting from the thirteenth of November. PlayStation 5 will reportedly release after the release of Xbox Series X. Multiple reports suggest that Microsoft is planning to launch the next-gen Xbox in the first week of September. They have reportedly told all the retailers to be prepared to launch on the first week, potentially on the sixth of November.

The new products are generally released in the month of September and October. The main reason to release before November end is to attract consumers during the holiday sales window, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Christmas. Consumers mostly buy new stuff during the holidays as a gift, or after getting the final paycheck of the year.

But, these dates mentioned above are tentative, since the company hasn’t officially confirmed anything from their side. However, Sony commenced the pre-orders for PlayStation 5 earlier this week for exclusive members. The pre-order registration is invite-only for the time being. If we believe the latest rumors, then the PlayStation 5’s price may start at $449 to $500.
