The reason behind his untimely death!
The post made on the actor’s official social media accounts mentioned that the actor died due to stage IV colon cancer. He has been battling deadly cancer for four years, but couldn’t keep up fighting on Saturday. He previously diagnosed stage III cancer back in 2016. But, with the time, cancer progressed to stage IV, which took his life.
Boseman kept secret about the diagnosis and continued working on several films, including Marshal, Da 5 Bloods, 21 Bridges, and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. While he was working on films, he continued receiving treatment, including surgeries and chemotherapy. He died on August 28 at his home, where his wife and children were by his side. He dedicated his heart and soul in delivering good movies and never expressed frustration during work due to his disease.
Chadwick Boseman garnered popularity following his portrayal of Jackie Robinson in the 2013’s 42, the first African-American baseball player to play in Major Baseball League. The sad part is, Boseman died on a day when MBL was celebrating Jackie Robinson Day. He then achieved more prominence in Hollywood after portraying Thurgood Marshall in 2017’s Marshall and, ultimately, after portraying Black Panther.
Even though he never publicized his health situation, fans were concerned over the years due to his significant weight loss. Every fan around the world is in a state of shock and in numerous tributes have been pouring across the globe. Several actors and filmmakers with who he had worked with have expressed grievance through social media. They have come forward and praised how good and genuine person he was.
