The Gionee Max smartphone marks the return of the brand in India, after a hiatus of over a year. Launched on 25th August 2020, the smartphone comes with an octa-core processor, a massive 5000mAh battery and a dual-camera setup at the rear. Gionee offers the smartphone in a single RAM and storage configuration, along with three colours, namely, Black, Red and Royal Blue. The smartphone features a 6.1 inch-HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1560 pixels, a 2.5D curved glass screen protection and thick bezels all-round. It also consists of a U-shaped notch at the front, consisting of the selfie camera. An earpiece just sits above the front camera.
The power and the volume rocker buttons are positioned on the right side of the device. A 3.5mm headphone jack and micro-USB charging port sit at the bottom, while an external speaker sits at the rear end.
